Skin rejuvenating injectables are made up of mainly hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally-occurring protein in human skin that attracts water. They are injected just under your skin, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. In human skin, the production of collagen starts to decline after age 25 which can lead to a loss of skin elasticity, thinning of skin, skin sagging and the development of wrinkles.

These injectables produce a long-lasting rejuvenating and moisturising effect leaving your skin plump and hydrated. There are a variety of these injectables on the market such as Profhilo®, Sunekos ®, Restylane® Skinboosters, Juvederm® Volite and Teosyal ® Redensity 1.
